Following on from his recent release ‘Suffocating’, which received notable recognition from the likes of Earmilk and 2FM, Irish singer-songwriter Cheesmore returns with his eclectic new single ‘Your Room’. With a lo-fi ambiance to the vocals and intimate lyricism, upcoming producer Cheesmore places authenticity at the core of his sound. Combining irresistible elements of UK garage and glitchy pop into the mix, ‘Your Room’ is an electrifying new release that showcases Cheesmore’s blossoming potential.
Speaking of his new track, Cheesmore reveals: “These songs are about that sensation of emotional deja vu and the taxing effect it has on oneself and the people that they love… [They’re} about the feeling of being in awe of someone you love but never quite understanding how they could feel the same about you.”
Currently working towards his debut EP, Cheesmore is crafting a unique signature sound for himself. His 2020 collaboration with Gubby and Isaac James earned support from BBC Introducing, with Cheesmore set to make waves on the indie scene as he unveils more of his intoxicating alt-pop tunes.
