Emerging folk artist Izzy Frances has unveiled her mesmerizing new ballad ‘Stay With Me’, which has already hurtled into the Top 10 of the iTunes Singer-Songwriter charts. With a refined piano accompaniment, the stripped-back track allows the focus to be placed on Izzy’s celestial vocals. She delivers an impassioned performance and emotive lyricism, which will have listeners hanging onto the edge of every word she sings.
Speaking of her new release, Izzy revealed: “I wrote ‘Stay With Me’ sitting on my bed with my keyboard thinking about love and how something that can evoke such madness at times can also feel so incredibly simple, honest and raw. I wanted to try to capture the intimacy of those feelings and ‘Stay With Me’ just poured out.”
Izzy Frances has received consistent BBC Introducing support for her raw, intimate soundscapes and authentic lyrical ability. She was a semi-finalist in both the UK’s 2020 Songwriting Competition and the International Songwriting Competition 2021, and has performed across historic London venues such as the Bedford and 100 Club.
