Jack Shore kickstarts new journey with ‘Have You Ever Really Lived’ – from an ultraorthodox family to creating his first EP

Coming from an ultraorthodox Jewish background in Jerusalem, Jack Shore is crafting his own path within the music industry. Having struggled in the school system as a result of having severe dyslexia, ADD, and ADHD, Jack Shore turned to music at age 15 when he discovered Garageband, and the rest is history. Now at only 21 years old, he is feverishly working towards establishing himself within dance music, while having amassed tens of millions of streams, on top of over 250k followers on TikTok.

Jack Shore dropped out of high school at the age of 17, leaving his ultraorthodox roots behind in order to pursue music full time. Currently working on his debut EP, which is slated for release later this year courtesy of rising Dutch imprint Frequency Music, he has just unveiled “Have You Ever Really Lived” alongside Minneapolis singer and songwriter Michael Shynes. Combining radio-ready vocal lines and stunning dance-pop production, “Have You Ever Really Lived” is as uplifting as it is pensive. It makes up for a stunning showcase of Jack Shore’s new style, and makes us even more excited to hear what he has coming up next.

“You’re in a car, it’s midnight, and you’re driving feeling as the city lights flow pass your skin. That’s how I’d describe the energy and inspiration behind ‘Have You Ever Really Lived’. The song is the first in the EP and was also the first I produced setting the trajectory and energy of the project exactly where I envisioned – a world where everything around you is a movie and you’re the main character, but not a sad movie, a hopeful movie full of excitement and nostalgia,” says the artist.
