Jamie Isaac has shared a new track called ‘Maybe‘ ahead of the release of his second album, (4:30) Idler.
‘Maybe‘ is a sultry soul offering brimming with Isaac’s early influences of jazz and blues. Shuffling beats and dreamy synth-scapes surround his silky vocals as the track shifts from place to place. The new cut has arrived with a set of slick, warped and moody visuals that echo the skewed vision of Gaspar Noe. Watch the clip below.
The new track originated in Los Angeles during sessions with J.LBS (Kendrick Lamar, Jhené Aiko, Schoolboy Q), and was then reimagined with an all-live band in London by Jamie Isaac himself.
(4:30) Idler, the follow-up to the Londoner’s excellent debut album Couch Baby. is slated for release on 1st June via Marathon Artists. Jamie will be playing three shows behind the new album in London, Los Angeles and New York. Grab tickets for those here.
