Los Angeles’ Jangus Kangus are preparing to release their new album, Fortune Cookie on April 11th. The album’s latest single is “Double Lives,” a gorgeous piece of dreamy surf rock reminiscent of artists like Beach House or Vivian Girls. No wonder lead singer, Jasmine Sankaran, describes the band’s sound as “an encyclopedic songbook of popular music and a bonanza of broken hearts, raw nerves, and prickly, jangly, playfully eclectic guitar-pop.”
