Jean-Michel Jarre Teams Up With Martin Gore On New Rework, ‘BRUTALISM TAKE 2’

Jean-Michel Jarre has collaborated with Martin Gore from Depeche Mode on a rework of his latest track, ‘BRUTALISM TAKE 2’. Taking the Berlin inspired techno beats of the original to a new level, the rework captures both artists’ dark and melodic sound, building on the ‘musique concrete’ inspiration in Jarre’s composition.

‘BRUTALISM’ was released last month as the first single from Jean-Michel Jarre’s 22nd studio album, ‘OXYMORE’, the legendary artist and producer’s most ambitious electronic music project yet. The collaboration with Martin Gore is one of multiple from both established and up and coming artists that will rework and remix the new single.

Speaking about the collaboration, Jarre said: “For the roll-out I am delighted to announce Martin Gore. From great haunted melodies to extreme experimentations Martin Gore is one of the most eclectic electronic music composers. His unique touch in ‘BRUTALISM TAKE 2’ shows it. It has been a real pleasure and honour to collaborate with you Martin!”
