Jesse Will unearths latest gem ‘Puddles’

UK-based songwriter-artist Jesse Will returns with ‘Puddles’, arguably Jesse’s most affecting work yet. Subtle piano lines, glowing vocal harmonies and ad libs sit beside Jesse’s glowing performance. Production from James Kenosha, who has previously worked with the likes of Birdy and Rhodes, the single is vulnerable, heartfelt and raw. Following his previous offering ‘Hold My Skin’, Jesse’s latest single is a step further into his artistry.

Jesse describes the song as “about surrendering and accepting impermanence. It explores recovery and the resilience that trauma leaves us with. I was inspired by the life cycle of water, how water is evaporated, and eventually returns to where it was, yet somehow purified from the experience.”

After a sharp rise, with a rendition of ‘Shake It Off’ being shared by none other than Taylor Swift herself, the New Zealand-hailing artist is often likened to The National, Damien Rice, and Ben Howard. Supported in the past by the likes of Clash Magazine, Earmilk, Starbucks worldwide and the Evening Standard, we can’t wait to hear what Jesse has planned for the rest of 2025.
