John Lydon aka Johnny Rotten a has spoken in support of Donald Trump.
Speaking to Piers Morgan and Susannah Reid on Good Morning Britain, the Public Image Ltd. and Sex Pistols frontman told Brexiteers that he’s “with them“.
“The working class have spoke, and I’m one of them, and I’m with them. And there it is,” Lydon declared.
“What I dislike is the left-wing media in America are trying to smear the bloke as a racist, and that’s completely not true,” he added of US President Donald Trump. “There’s many, many problems with him as a human being, but he’s not that, and there just might be a chance something good will come out of that situation, because he terrifies politicians. And this is joy to behold… dare I say, [he’s] a possible friend.”
Elsewhere, the now-US citizen slapped praise on Nigel Farage, applauding the UKIP man’s spat with Bob Geldof: “I wanted to shake his hand…”
