Taking listeners on an intimate and sincere journey, multi-talent Jordyn shares with us his debut EP ‘Framework’ today, and it is not to be missed. Creating a project that is filled with passion and soul, the artist, rapper, lyricist and producer showcases his adept musical skills throughout each of the EP’s 5 songs.
The EP’s lead single ‘Multiply’ is a feel-good bop, that features Jordyn rapping and singing alongside uplifting melodies. Speaking on the meaning behind the track, Jordyn explained: “I wanted to create a new flex, that shifts the focus from “look what I have” to “look what I can create.” It’s a declaration that whatever I’m given, however small or great, I’ll work it to my advantage. I think we need that paradigm shift in a genre that can often make us feel insecure, instead of empowered.”
Touching on inspirational narratives, ‘Framework’ is not only sonically impressive, but also lyrically clever, relatable and introspective.
Working with artists such as Twista, Jordin Sparks, Xavier Omar, Alex Aiono in his career, he balances his time on his own artist career as well as collaborating with other artists and landing advert/film/tv opportunities. With so much knowledge and expertise under his belt, it’s no wonder he has received an abundance of success already in his journey.
