Jorja Smith unveils acoustic version of ‘On My Mind’

Jorja Smith has shared a stripped back acoustic version of her previously released collaboration with Preditah, ‘On My Mind‘.

Teaming up last month for ‘On My Mind‘ the British singer and renowned grime producer managed to capture the raw energy of U.K. pirate radio. The original cut saw Smith’s voice adorn a silky smooth garage beat with skittering percussion and techie vocal chops. Now, the singer has shared a slower rendition of the track, an soulful R&B song reminiscent of her more bluesy numbers. Accompanied by just a guitar, the acoustic version paints a moody backdrop which fits perfectly with the heartbreaking lyrics. Listen below.

ast month Jorja Smith made an appearance on Later… with Jools Holland where she performed a soothing rendition of her single, ‘Blue Lights‘.
