Sharing single after single this year, anonymous multi-talent juuku is truly on a roll, with no signs of slowing down anytime soon. Following his debut EP ‘Warmth’ via Moving Castle last year, which was preceded by singles such as “Just Lost” with Manila Killa and “Leaving,” juuku has already collaborated with REMNANT.exe and Farrah this year, and has just unveiled his latest single, “Alive Again.”
Out independently, “Alive Again” finds juuku juxtapose immersive atmospheres with hard-hitting yet melodic drops, making up for an auditory result that is bound to captivate and inspire. A song that helped juuku get through trying times last year, when he felt his mental health declining, “Alive Again” is one of his most impressive singles this year, and certainly a fine addition to his already massive catalog.
“this song was the first song i made after going through crippling anxiety and depression late last year. i felt so numb to things and felt like a shell of myself during that time, but there was this one glimmer of hope that i could never describe pulling me back into who i felt i lost. awake again reminds me that no matter how long you think you’ve left something, there is a glimmer of hope deep inside – waiting to be awakened again,” explained juuku in a press statement.
