South East London born & raised, JY MNTL are made up of cousins, Jay (JY) and Montell (MNTL). Describing their sound as R ‘ &’ T (rhythm & trap), the boys bring a UK inspired fusion of melodic R&B and high grade hip hop with a splash of afrobeats.
JY MNTL team up with Wohdee for their first Single of 2021. After gaining over 1Million streams on their debut project last year the boys took some time to get back in the lab and come back even harder.
