Mashing together multiple exciting genres such as lo-fi, jazz and hip-hop with a slight electronic influence, Kaelin Ellis has come to be considered as one of the most forward-thinking producers of his generation. His solo discography spans across multiple genre-bending albums and EPs, while his production talents have allowed him to work alongside artists such as Lupe Fiasco and Drex Carter, as well as Off-White’s founder Virgil Abloh.
Now, fresh off the success of his Tiny Desk (Home) Concert on NPR alongside Carrtoons and The Kount, Kaelin Ellis has returned with his first project of 2021, sharing 5-track EP REMNANTS. Bringing a lot of different influences together to mold one cohesive sound, Kaelin Ellis without a doubt proves he is just getting started with REMNANTS. The project also features production from Outlaw the Artist and seeyousoon member, Kkami, and we can’t wait to see what else Kaelin Ellis has in store for us this year.
