KEiiNO, who represented Norway in the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest, have revealed their latest video ‘Black Leather’. The pop heroes took inspiration for the song from a men-only night at Berlin’s legendary nightclub Berghain, and the video carries on a suitable clubby theme.
The band said: “Black Leather portrays a future where gender identification and expression are no longer a barrier to fulfil one’s heart’s desires. It is the first pop-banger that includes traditional singing from two indigenous cultures; Sami Joik and Inuk throat singing”
Since their debut in January 2019, KEiiNO have enjoyed increasing success around the world. Their platinum debut single, ‘Spirit In The Sky’ was nominated for ‘Song of the Year’ at the Norwegian Grammys and has been streamed over 26 million times on Spotify. The track has charted #1 on the Norwegian sales-charts, along with reaching #2 on Spotify’s Global Viral 50, and #10 on the Global iTunes Charts. Check out the video for ‘Black Leather’ below.
