Independent artist Kiara Laetitia has had a musical career as an artist, manager and writer, her eclectic skillset rooted in offering advice to fellow musicians. Founding Musicarchy Media to help guide artists to success, publishing her book ‘NEVER GIVE UP The Real Secrets Of The Music Industry’ and spearheading the first all-female virtual festival ‘Online Female Fest’.
Now arriving alongside her 2007 album The Last Gate and 2013 solo EP ‘Fight Now’ to mark her return to music comes an emotional acoustic reimagining of Linkin Park’s ‘In The End’. Released through her own label Tank Girl Media Group the song is performed in stark contrast to the original. As Kiara delivers a heart-wrenching and impassioned performance, a delicate piano provides a soulful accompaniment. Though there’s fragility and vulnerability in the vocal performance, it is blended with a feeling of empowerment and overcoming, as Kiara gracefully glides through stylised melodies from the iconic track.
Kiara shares, “I’ve always loved In The End since day one when I found the video on MTV. It wasn’t an easy moment for me, I was living at home with my parents, panic attacks were so bad I could barely leave the house and no one could understand what I had. Chester’s voice immediately gave me goosebumps, I felt like it ripped my soul in pieces but at the same time it gave me hope. In The End to me is the battle with my demons”
