Kierra da Goddess releases double single “From The Manic Pixie Dream Girl” and “it’s ok to change”

“it’s ok to change” is one of two singles released by Kierra da Goddess. Laid back electric guitars and heavenly vocals are the main components in this refreshing offering. Drenched in reverb, the track provides a heavenly soundscape with important and well-penned lyrics hooking us in. Both singles showcase her versatility as a songwriter and musician. The second single released with it is titled “From The Manic Pixie Dream Girl.” It offers the listener more of an energetic track, with an infectious groove and a showcase of super strength vocals are sure to entice you in.

Speaking to us about the track, she shares: “I wrote ‘From the manic pixie dream girl’ about being made into a joke after telling a lot of jokes. It’s a rage song for people who have my humour style.”

Growing up in many parts throughout the south of Georgia, Kierra da Goddess found an interest in many different artists such as Beyonce, Coldplay, Cage the Elephant, Diana Gordon, Queen, Ariana Grande, Doja Cat, Gwen Stefani, Jasmine Sullivan, $uicideboy$, Melanie Martinez, and many more. She began writing songs at six years old as a way to deal with changes at home. Being a young black woman seeing such a lack in representation for her interests with her own culture at the forefront, Kierra began making her own music. Crafting music in the wide range from pop to R&B to indie and classic rock, many have been taken aback as the witty songwriter creates music about mental health, being young, and relationships. Her latest offering only goes to prove her ability.
