Kirby Forest drops new track ‘Space’ with glitchy visuals

Kirby Forest has unveiled the visuals for his new track, ‘Space‘, which pay homage to the golden age of hip-hop.

Space‘ is a mellow cut which pairs gentle synth melodies with groaning subs to create a track that’s playable in the club or on the go. The song’s glitchy elements compliment the video’s VHS style and provide a believably nostalgic pay-off. Watch below.

Speaking about the track the Londoner explains: “‘Space’ is a deeper track, that starts really chill, but hits hard with the base. You wouldn’t expect it to drop like that

The song is about doing what you’re saying, and doing what you’re passionate about. It’s about goals and working towards them, and about how much work you actually have to put into something to make it work.

The new cut is taken from Forest’s debut EP, Space, which includes his previously released track, ‘Acid Jazz‘.
