Electronic producer kiskadee has shared his euphoric new single ‘Higher Calling’, which brings a dance-inducing sound to the table. Alongside a soulful vocal sample, kiskadee builds shimmering melodies and rhythmic synths into a house-inspired anthem.
Speaking about his new release, kiskadee says: “I came across the sample (Archie Thompson – Higher Calling), about a year ago during lockdown and have been mashing it up with a few tunes during my monthly residencies on Subtle Radio and Voices. I was inspired to flip it into the track after a recent trip to Printworks, being in the midst of euphoric bodies dancing the night away, almost transported to another plane, gave me the idea for the track and hopefully it’ll return to that setting (as we all have!) soon enough.”
This new release follows on from kiskadee’s EP HOME which arrived earlier this year and accumulated over 100,000 streams. The London-based producer and composer has engineered for artists such as Jessie Ware, M.I.A and HAELOS; he’s now given birth to his own project and we can’t wait to hear more.
