kleio unveil the emotive single ‘four’

Steadily unveiling captivating songwriting ability from their home town in Ireland, kleio are quickly establishing themselves across the UK and Ireland as a must-see force. Energising their tracks with ferocious performances, their indie anthem have appeared across multiple fast-paced runs of live shows.

kleio’s latest single is the brand new ‘four’, a song which sees the band craft a glowing anthem, soaring from note to note whilst keeping the raw energy that gave them one-to-watch status. The verses allow a universal battle for the top step of the mix, with the electric guitar dancing through its own melodies, the drums articulating extra rhythms and the pace cementing a melodic approach.

As the chorus then makes a wave through the music, everything comes together, a bright and shimmering support of the comforting smile behind the vocals. Though ‘four’ sees kleio tone down their high-octane atmospheres ever so slightly, they bring with them a new found emotion, truly able to capture some much in their tone alone, embracing the listener in a spinning contentment filled with vivid colour.

Luke, one quarter of the band, explains, ”When writing the song ‘four’ we really had our live audience in mind. We began our playing career performing a mix of originals and covers and always wanted to have one of our songs sang back to us the way audiences would with the covers. ‘four’ has become that exact song, one of our favourite moments as a band so far was playing ‘four’ to a sold-out crowd who completely took over in Belfast, I had to give up singing the latter half of the song because of the noise.”
