Growing up in Chicago’s Northside with a single mom, KnowledgeBoy had to live around precarious street-related gang activity until he was nine. He knew by the time he graduated high school that he had to leave Chicago for college and follow his dreams. His music reflects these real-life experiences, all the while blurring the line between alternative R&B and Rap. After showcasing his lyrical skill at his local 95.3 rap station, KnowledgeBoy dropped his first album to local acclaim, No College Boy.
