Kyros had a high-octane 2023, enticing fans throughout the year with teaser singles that received widespread press acclaim. Their pioneering blend of synth design and prog-rock has supported the likes of Marillion, Spock’s Beard and IQ and other performances on a global scale.
Now, the wait is finally over, with Kyros unveiling their fourth studio album ‘Mannequin’. The project is nothing short of totally unique, bringing together sensibilities from across the genre spectrum, and reproducing them with a distinctive energy that amazes and astonishes. Ten tracks in length, the project never lets go of the high-octane atmosphere and contains some of their most infectious and ambitious work to date.
Lead vocalist Shelby shares, “Our upcoming album, ‘Mannequin’ is like peeling back layers of paint on an old canvas. With each track, we’re exploring the masks we all wear, the stories we tell ourselves to get by.
This album is a real heart-on-sleeve affair for us and it’s probably the most ‘us’ we’ve ever sounded. It’s about what happens when the facade cracks and you’re left with nothing but the truth.
