Lana Crow drops ‘If He Loved Me Back Then’

Lana Crow brings sparkle, strength and spotlight to her new indie-pop anthem ‘If He Loved Me Back Then’. Reinventing one of the tracks from her debut album, it brings a danceable, euphoric celebration to what was a heartbreak anthem.

Glimmering synths, grooving bass tones and uplifting, tight drums, the charming indie vibes are met with disco-infused energy. Captivating, effortless and empowering, Lana delivers a pure release of emotion, healing through joy rather than sorrow.

Lana shares more thoughts on the track here, “This song is based on ‘If He Loved Me’ from my debut album, I Will, but I changed both the lyrics and the tune to create a more cheerful, danceable version. It’s about looking back on heartbreak with gratitude rather than regret, turning past pain into personal power. I want people to celebrate failed relationships, because I don’t believe they’re really failures. Every connection teaches us something about ourselves, and all of them — the good, the bad, and the ugly — deserve to be celebrated with a good old dance move.”

Lana’s music journey began in Kazakhstan, where she was born. Nurtured by her grandparents and attending a musical pre-school, she learnt to turn her shyness off-stage into extraversion in performance. After health issues put a hold on developing her musicianship, she returned to music after marriage and starting a family, rekindling a young love with a declaration of growth and self-acceptance.
