Lana Crow shares the story of liberation in ‘Live It’

Singer-songwriter Lana Crow has released the culmination of her poetic reflections since her debut album last year. Sophomore project Live It is vibrant, a seven-track collection with the essence of a summer breeze carrying a penchant for freedom. Heartfelt weight brings stories of love, heartbreak and liberation, each bringing a bittersweet but necessary lesson from a life lived to the full.

From soft, synth-based ballads to guitar-driven anthems, each step on the journey feels intimate, something of a sonic diary. Euphoria to slow-burn gut punches, the contradictions of themes are the contradictions of life itself, a balance of chaos and calm, highs and heartache.

“This album is a reflection of my personal journey, how I’ve grown, struggled, and learned along the way,” Lana explains. “Each song captures different phases of self-discovery, from embracing my flaws to confronting the world’s harsh realities. It’s a deeply personal exploration of life’s contradictions, its joys, its heartaches, and its lessons. Writing these songs was my way of processing my own growth and making sense of the world around me, hoping that others might find a piece of themselves in it too.”

Born in Kazakhstan and introduced to music by her grandparents at a young age, Lana Crow learned piano at five and honed her craft throughout her early years. After health challenges put ambitions on hold, it took until she started a family for the creative spark to be rekindled. Two years of writing behind closed doors led to I Will, her debut album. Now, Live It is a marker for a new chapter and cemented style.
