‘Landfall / March of the Dispossessed’ delights us with traditional Irish musical instruments

Ciarán Ruby is best known as one third of The Diviners.

The Diviners are a traditional folk music act from Cork, Ireland.

Their live set features vocals and an assortment of eclectic instruments such as uilleann pipes, bouzouki and bodhrán, this provides an idea about what we can expect from Ciarán’s solo release ‘Landfall / March of the Dispossessed’.

‘Landfall’ radiates with a traditional sounding folk melody and the flute like part of the arrangement is a real delight.

‘March of the Dispossessed’ concludes things with an equally catchy instrumental bought to us by Anthony Ruby and his Uillean Pipes.
