With musical lineage, her late uncle Earl Lindo, a member of The Wailers, BRIT school alum Leiyah has harnessed her early opportunities into a vibrant career since her 2019 debut. Support from national radio and press, breakthrough live performances and working with Grammy-winning industry professionals, all lead us to today, where she releases the vivid ‘I SEE LIGHT’.
Leaning into an almost synth-pop aesthetic, the new single is a spotlight down the middle of the dancefloor. Harnessing a retrofuturism in her sound with synthesised sparkle and tight electronic drums, the vocals come in as beautifully pop-directed.
