Originally hailing from Portugal, where he was classically trained, leo. now resides in the U.K. Despite moving country, his sound still impresses and he’s making waves within the British music scene also. As he raises his live concert profile, it’s the perfect time for his biggest offering to date.
leo. is returning with a heartwarming new single entitled “green.” A stripped back offering in the main, the track features a powerful ukulele and vocal partnership. However, throughout “green” elements such as piano and strings get dropped in, giving the track a different dynamic. Lyrically, “green” merges bittersweet with heartwarming.
About his new release leo. says, “green is a song I wrote about someone who had too many green flags for me to succeed at self-sabotage. It’s a really fun song about hope that things can actually be good and complete stubbornness about letting a new person in all at the same time. It’s the first single off my upcoming debut album, due later this year, produced by Ed Allen. Ed and I have worked really hard to develop my sound and I couldn’t be happier with how it’s all coming along. This is my favourite song I’ve done yet and I can’t wait to share it with everyone.”
leo. is set to take the live scene by storm. With upcoming dates on the horizon, we cannot wait to see where he’ll take this.
