Championed by Manchester City FC as their 2024 Battle of the Bands winner, garnering tastemaker support across music press, national radio and Spotify editorials, Lissy’s most recent moment in the spotlight came with a sold-out Manchester headliner and has a summer of festival appearances ahead of her.
Drenched in tenacity, Lissy’s latest single is an absolute anthem. ‘Your Girl’ balances an enticing lead vocal with raw instrumentation and fierce performances walking a line of gliding melodies and organic authenticity.
The elements of flirtatiousness are firmly balanced with self-assurance, Lissy sharing, “I wrote it after a breakup thinking yes I could be your girl but I can be anything. I really wanted to capture the confidence and empowerment in being single.”
