Liza Anne invites you to her ‘Bad Vacation’ with her newest single

Liza Anne has released her brand new single ‘Bad Vacation’ ahead of her highly anticipated forthcoming album, due to be announced later this year. With a sentiment that seems very fitting to the current status of the world, ‘Bad Vacation’ continues Liza’s streak of shimmering indie rock tunes, whilst adding a new, slightly wonky, flavour to the mix.

With a head bopping groove, the track’s solid bass, doubled by the rhythm guitar, acts as the horizon whilst the rest of the track’s head spinning layers turn your world upside down.

Written about the manic pain and joy of freeing yourself from an unhealthy relationship, the largely synth driven track was co-produced by Kyle Ryan (Kacey Musgraves, Natalie Prass), Micah Tawlks (Louis Prince, COIN) and Liza herself.

Liza said: “Writing this song was a mental playground for me – turning pain into satire and imaging a hope-filled world with no ceilings – I wanted to bottle up that electricity that happens when you’re free of something taxing.”
