Love Ghost has always championed a ‘for the misfits’ attitude, with the artist’s lyrical vulnerability providing a haven for fans. On their recent European tour, Love Ghost played on the Rockpalast festival broadcast, aired throughout Germany on television, whilst recent performances in Mexico City have seen the band feature at Auditorio BB, Indie Foro Rocks and Amazon’s Gamergy Festival. A constant collaborator, Love Ghost’s Finnegan Bell is currently spending time in Mexico, writing and recording with fellow industry up-and-comers.
Already showcasing a fast-paced 2024, Love Ghost’s most recent single sees a feature from emerging rapper Yung Dupe. Their track ‘TIME TRAVEL’ is hard-hitting, hazy and empowering. Frenzied string arrangements and fiery drum production provide a backdrop to a dark yet vivid lyrical story. Love Ghost’s performance is rich and attention-grabbing, constantly providing infectious melodies and passionate delivery. Yung Dupe’s feature arrives as an energised and mysterious interlude, utilising a flow that drives the entire track forward before it wraps up.
Finnegan Bell shares, “Time Travel is a song about a troubled girl that that I was interested in and a desire to travel back in time to absolve her from trauma/ her own demons. However in this voyage I opened up a door to an alternate universe and welcomed her demons into my own life. It’s very fantasy driven and creative and honestly I was loosely inspired by the movie Donnie Darko.”
