‘Love Song’ mesmerizes with funky smooth melodies and the delightful vocals of Taura Lamb

British pop singer and producer Taura Lamb began her journey as an artist with the release of her debut EP ‘Lucky Girls’ in 2020.

Born and raised in the Midlands, Taura moved to South London to study music at Goldsmiths.

It was here that she discovered her affinity for music production, allowing her to hone her skill as a writer, resulting in a credit on the dance smash ‘Tied Up’ by The Magician and Julian Perretta that hit the top 40 across Europe in 2017.

Leading the release of her debut album ‘Revisions’ is title track ‘Love Song’.

The ‘Revisions’ project is essentially the lovechild of Taura and Covid – a bit of an unconventional description but probably the most accurate, given the album was birthed in the first lockdown, developed on the now much depended on Zoom and packaged together with Taura actually not even meeting some of her creative collaborators face to face.

‘Love Song’ mesmerizes with funky smooth melodies and the delightful vocals of Taura Lamb, there is something about Taura’s vocal style that captivates us all the way through the track.

The music video for title track ‘Love Song’ is a personal invitation from Taura to join her on her journey of what she considers to be most influential love songs.

Filmed by Will Warr (here), most notably known as a videographer for the Royal family, his visual genius alongside Taura’s unquestionably iconic taste see’s the video bring to life many widely-adored album covers and of course, her own.
