Having already cultivated more than one million streams for their infectious releases over the last few years, Chicago-based outfit LowDown Brass Band are looking to continue their vibrant ascent as they deliver the toe-tapping new single ‘Call Me’.
Channelling more of that smooth and glittering jazz-inspired soul sound they are known for, ‘Call Me’ makes for an incredibly fun and upbeat listen. With its fresh and buoyant flavours that blend a heady mix of hip-hop and funk into their aesthetic, this new offering cements them as one of the more uplifting names doing the rounds right now.
Adding about the new track, they said, “Call Me was composed by Trumpeter and Lead Vocalist Shane Billa and MC Billa Camp. Call Me is LowDown’s lead single off of $itzens of the World, which will be released this spring. It was mixed and mastered at Studio 11 in Chicago IL by Dan Zorn.”
