Irish singer-songwriter Lukewarmdaily96 makes his debut with his first-ever single ‘Peaching’, announcing his arrival with a charming acoustic track that showcases his unique style. The chilled ballad sees an original blend of influences from the likes of country, folk, and indie-pop. Accompanied by twangy guitar melodies, Lukewarmdaily96 lends his wistful crooning to storytelling lyricism, narrating the tale of companionship and loyalty through a fruity metaphor.
Lukewarmdaily96 says of his new release: “It’s about friendship really. I wanted to make a low-key country song, and have the focus on storytelling. Each person will hear something different in the story and that’s what interests me.”
Inspired by songwriters such as Elliot Smith, James Blake, and Alex G, Lukewarmdaily96 has created a sound that carries a sense of both escapism and authenticity. ‘Peaching’ is the first snippet of the new artist’s debut EP, entitled ‘Cluck’, which can be expected later this year.
