An actor has been shot dead on the set of a hip-hop video shoot in Australia.
The man, who according to police was in his 20s, was “accidentally” shot in the chest during filming for Australian hip hop group Bliss n Eso’s next single in Brisbane.
The band’s management confirmed the incident in a statement: “We are able to confirm the death of a person occurred today at the filming of a Bliss n Eso music clip… The band were not on site at the time. The video production crew and our team are currently working with the police in their investigation and we are unable to provide further comment at this time.”
Queensland police inspector Tom Armitt confirmed firearms were used on the scene, but added: “We do not know specifically how those injuries occurred at this point in time.”
Bliss n Eso are one of Australia’s hottest groups, having notched up two consecutive Number One albums in the country.
