Manchester duo Lemonade Lake drop new dynamic track ‘27 (All My Friends Are Boring)’

Off to a flying start for 2022, Lemonade Lake have shared their unique, genre blending track  ‘27 (All My Friends Are Boring)’, and it truly is one that stands out from the rest.

The single unites Motown inspired bass lines, with breakbeat style live drums and an unconventional song structure, all behind a seemingly typical indie tune.

Lemonade Lake reveal: “‘27’ is a song all about when you are feeling lost and directionless at a time when you’re meant to be doing your best. It’s for when you’re unhappy with the path you’re on, even though it’s a path you chose.”

Drawing influence from the likes of Radiohead, Jeff Buckley, King Krule and Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Lemonade Lake have created their own distinct sound that borrows from both old and new sounds, and really keeps you hooked.
