The duo from London just released their first album ‘The Institute’, but now who’s behind Goodvibes Sound? Angus and Alex, two friends based in London who met while attending jam parties hosted by a friend up in Scotland. For our greatest pleasure, they aimed at the same thing: writing songs for people to dance to. Not long after they decided to form Goodvibes Sound back in 2019. They released their first single ‘Beachside Living’ in 2020 and have been imposing their style while reaching new fans since then. You may have seen them performing on the main stage at The Big Weekend, sharing the bill with Nile Rodgers & Chic or heard them on BBC radio which has been supporting the duo for some time.
Thanks to their striking live performances, catchy hooks and funny antics the self-released duo have enjoyed significant growth online and a high degree of anticipation among fans for their debut album ‘The Institute’ released on October 14th. All the songs follow the journey of someone feeling alienated and who ends up finding the Goodvibes Institute.
