Michigan Left are out of this world with new album ‘Capsize’

Michigan Left have released their highly anticipated sophomore album ‘Capsize’, following on from their 2018 debut ‘Nothing Is To Color’. Bringing a variety of influences to their cosmical psych-rock sound, the collective have created a cinematic soundscape that is both contemporary and nostalgic at once. From the upbeat energy of ‘Faux Undertow’ to the dazzling title track ‘Capsize’, the many nuanced layers of this record provide something for every listener.

Originally hailing from Detroit, Michigan Left was first formed in 2017 by frontman Josh Slater. Their latest project ‘Capsize’ has been years in the making, and pulls from genres ranging from Space Rock to Disco, creating infinite textures to their sound which somehow all complement each other. Michigan Left have been compared to the likes of Post Animal and Tame Impala, and we anticipate their new record will attract great response.
