Mokita and slenderbodies connect for impressive indie-pop gem ‘Speeding Up’

Following his School Night LA debut on their livestream back in June, Nashville’s very own Mokita has done it again, this time teaming up with Indie electronic duo Slenderbodies for smooth gem “Speeding Up.” Undoubtedly a combination of sounds that compliments the skills of both names, “Speeding Up” is the perfect song for those warm summer nights. Organic percussion drives the tune under cheeky guitar melodies, while warm synth pads and groovy basslines provide the perfect blend between organic and digital vibes.

Mokita is no stranger to massive collaborations, as he is still riding high off his recent joint songs with the likes of Kina, Luca Schreiner, Dabin, Sarah Reeves, Ella Vos. He has amassed over 400 million Streams on Spotify alone, while receiving support from Fault Magazine, Billboard, Wonderland Magazine, Ones To Watch, and many others. slenderbodies have had an equally impressive trajectory within the scene, forming in Los Angeles and emerging in the summer of 2016 with their self-released debut, Sotto Voce. They have since received almost 50 million streams with their single “anemone,” and are currently supporting Louis The Child on their US tour.
