Collaborating with fashion labels such as Longshaw Ward and Eirinn Hayhow and performing at the likes of Camp Bestival, Fractalight Festival Of Light and Camden Assembly have seen the artist cement herself as one of the most exciting up-and-coming talents.
MOLTENO’s latest single ‘Clouds’ continues to tease a new era, becoming the third teaser single from the new EP ‘Element 2’, which in itself is set to start a new series of music. Bringing together pounding drums with endless electronic arrangements, there’s a tightness across the track as well as a blurred haziness, making for an emotive atmosphere as the notes glitter above the energised breaks. MOLTENO’s vocal perfectly captures these feelings, subtly growing throughout the music into an angelic presence, evoking a sense of power and elegance in the airy melodies of her performance. Becoming one with the abundant frequencies, and drawing the listener into a new world.
MOLTENO shares, ”With ‘Clouds’, I wanted to explore the potential of feeling connected with others, even those we’ve lost, by immersing ourselves in nature. I started writing it in the middle of the night when the rest of the house was out, I think that space between awake and dreaming seeped into the song.”
