Comprised primarily of Morgan Condon on drums, Brad Larroquette on bass and Stevoknievo on guitar and vocals, Motorcycle Display Team have been releasing music for over a decade. Touring the UK and Europe and earning titles of ‘Artist of the Month’ and ‘Unsigned Band Band Of The Month’ along the way, their journey has seen support from BBC Music Introducing and featured on the likes of ‘Hollyoaks’, ‘Off The Hook’ and ‘Rogue’
Now returning with the prospect of a new EP, Heartbeaten, on the horizon, MDT have released ‘To The Endless’, an expansive and emotive orchestral ballad, filled with rock momentousness. Bringing fresh instrumentation of keys, strings, flutes and backing singers, ‘To The Endless’ showcases the full songwriting power of the band. Telling a delicate story of broken devotion through intricately composed harmonies and polished production, the band move through an expressive vocal duet, supporting each lead melody with a vast array of instrumentation. The track turns from alluring to captivating to spellbinding, wrapping the listener within the narrative, and pouring emotion into every moment.
Stevoknievo adds, “We wanted to take two tales of ordinary broken people and tell them with grace and humility. And Nick Squires’ delicate string arrangements, along with the layers of piano and backing vocals, lend these tawdry stories of the everyday human experience a tender grandeur.”
