MYRY is back with new single ‘Weakest Seams’

London-based alt-pop songstress MYRY returns with ‘Weakest Seams’, inspired by Four Tet and Bonobo. The single is captivating, glowing, and driven by Valentino Fanizza’s hypnotic handpan percussion. The production is spacious, subtle, and ethereal, with MYRY’s vocals guiding the listener through themes of fragility.

The artist shares an insight into the track, ”This is a song about the fragile yet powerful emotions awakened into each other during toxic relationships (‘it wasn’t right’) and how they can be blinding. It is a song about accepting that things can be beautiful and yet have an expiration date; when there are ‘weak seams’ in the fabric, it eventually tears.”

After being brought up in Belgium, Italy, and the UK, MYRY’s diverse influences have culminated in a unique sound and mixed range of influences. Inspired by The National, Radiohead, Alt J, and Billie Eilish, MYRY has been backed by the key music press and the BBC.
