Nadia Vaeh gets personal on her new single ‘Anxiety’

Following on from the praise for her recently shared singles ‘Boomerang’ and ‘Rise’ over the last year, LA-based singer and songwriter Nadia Vaeh now shows a more personal side of herself on her newest offering ‘Anxiety’.

Written to raise awareness for the non-profit organisation MusiCares, which helps musicians suffering with mental health issues in the industry, ‘Anxiety’ is a thought-provoking and autobiographical release that connects the singer and the audience throughout. Inspired by her own struggles, this new gem sees her deliver one of her darkest and most poignant cuts to date.

“Anxiety is a fabric of my life, as it is for so many others. This world breeds anxiety as if it were positive for us. Sometimes I am able to channel my anxieties in a positive way; other times, it can disable my ability to function. It just depends on the day… sometimes the hour,” explains Vaeh. “I am just glad society is arriving at a place where we can keep the topic of mental health a bit more open. The more we embrace the light and dark sides of the human experience, the easier it is to recognize and enjoy the goodness.”
