Nahvi Turns Ludacris’ “Stand Up” Into A Club Anthem With Infectious Flip

Since debuting his project last summer, Indianapolis producer Nahvi has been consistently capturing the attention of music fans and industry professionals alike, sharing numerous singles while enlisting Gerk Major, Twirk, DKdoitall and more on his ‘Nahvi Made It, Vol. 2. EP.’ Now, he has just returned with an infectious jersey club flip, taking on Ludacris’ 2003 classic single “Stand Up.”

Classically trained on piano at an early age, Nahvi spins the hip-hop formula by incorporating sounds from jazz, soul, and gospel with Latin American and African drums, while taking inspiration John Coltrane, A Tribe Called Quest, and Pharrell. Nahvi’s influences are in full display all throughout his latest “Stand Up” flip, which is filled with heavy basslines and groovy drums, that nicely blend with Ludacris’ iconic bars and the talented producer’s catchy loops.
