New and innovative children’s music artist, Little Syne (aka Fernando JM), released his debut 5 song EP, ‘Little Green EP’, on May 15, 2020. The EP includes a reggae about colours, a trap song about shapes, a pop/rock song about bath time, and more!
“It’s not your typical, watered-down children’s music; it’s music that everyone can enjoy. The ‘Little Green EP’ explores many different genres and will make you want to dance!”
A few points of interest are:
• Fernando JM toured and performed with The Wiggles for many years; he performed with the original Wiggles and also performed with the new Wiggles before they became the new Wiggles, and he was the Yellow Wiggle for the Latin American Wiggles, which filmed in 2005.
• Fernando produced and recorded all of the songs himself, and he created all of the music as well as the art, characters, animation, and visuals for the music video for the trap song, called ‘It’s The Shapes’.
• Little Syne’s songs are not typical children’s songs, but they are composed and produced in a way that are fun for all ages and are of different genres that include trap, rock/pop, and reggae
• The album (on Bandcamp and the Little Syne website, littlesyne.com) includes a bonus song called the Social Distancing Blues, a blues/rock song about social distancing
• This children’s music project, Little Syne, is connected to a larger project that is about inspiring curiosity and kindness through art and music: syneverse.com
• There is much more content and music that Fernando is working on for his Little Syne project, including a collaboration with quantum physicist and renown children’s book author, Chris Ferrie, who is from Sydney, Australia.
