‘Nobody Knows’ features a catchy and stirring soundscape, delightful but haunting melodies courtesy of alt-folk band three and me

After a four year break, alt-folk band three and me have returned with their new single ‘Nobody Knows.’

A veritable cocktail of distinct yet complementary spirits, they are made up of singer and multi-instrumentalist Daisy Chute, fingerpicking her way through guitar, banjo and ukulele riffs, bassist-to-beat Matthew Davis, violinist extraordinaire Sarah Crisp and finger-bending chord-crunching pianist Luke Bateman.

They collectively coin their signature sound Post-Modern Folk and draw on influences ranging from the Brit pop and indie bands of the 90s (think Blur and Radiohead) to the more recent folk stylings of the likes of Laura Marling, Mumford and Sons and Moulettes.

‘Nobody Knows’ features a catchy and stirring soundscape, delightful but haunting melodies courtesy of alt-folk band three and me and the beautiful voice of their Grammy award winning vocalist Daisy Chute.

The song explores the nature of loneliness and longing.
