Norway’s KEiiNO Join Forces With Electric Fields

KEiiNO, the scandi-pop legends from Norway, have released a new song in collaboration with ARIA nominated duo Electric Fields. Continuing their tradition of fusing traditional Norwegian throat-singing with their upbeat melodies, ‘Would I Lie’ includes some more traditional elements courtesy of Electric Fields’ singer Zaachariaha Fielding and his blend of traditional First Nations culture. The result is one of the band’s most powerful songs to date.
Taken from their forthcoming debut album, ‘Would I Lie’ is the second in a series of collaborations that KEiiNO have recorded with other artists.
Electric Fields said: “We love this song and loved working with KEiiNO. Creating music together was a beautiful, free-flowing experience, with our shared respect for our mother planet being reflected in the lyrics.”
Tom Hugo of KEiiNO said: “Working with Michael & Zaachariah was amazing. We share a lot of values, and it was easy to find a topic that both groups find important. We strive to add substance to our songs, and ‘Would I Lie’ was written as an intended warning letter from Mother Earth. Four months later, the topic is more current than ever.”
