‘Keep Dancing’ is the latest to bring this colourful moment to the dancefloor. Funk-fuelled guitars, sparkling synths and infectious vocals, it’s got all the merits and trademarks Oh Buddy! has come to own, but continues to shine a new light on what it means to be spellbound with a romantic theme laced in.
‘“Keep Dancing” is our take on retro influences like disco and vinyl crate-sampled soul,” the duo shares. “The music came first through a simple method: asking, “What would someone look like dancing to this?” From there, we wrote the lyrics with our good friend and insanely talented songwriter, Chris Gelbuda, and Keep Dancing’s magic came to life. Our producer, Jesse Brock, then really transformed the song, giving it levity and attitude through modern production while maintaining the classic influences. It’s a huge step forward for us, and we couldn’t be more excited.”
