Paradise Circus release irresistible new single “FLY”

Consisting of of David Purchase (vocals), Callum Cartwright (guitar), Sam Allen (bass), Nathan Shingler (drums) and Peter Donnelly (keys), indie-rock outfit Paradise Circus have made quite the impression on the music industry. Merging new and old together, Paradise Circus have a unique and signature sound that has been lauded by fans and tastemakers alike. Alongside this, the band have played sold-out shows with the likes of Candid and the Native, allowing them to showcase their powerhouse sound up and down the country.

Paradise Circus are back with an immersive new single entitled “FLY.” Featuring grooving drums, warm bass lines and swirling guitar melodies, the instrumental comes as a colourful musical canvas. On top, soft but impactful vocal lines work hand in glove with well-penned lyrics.

Speaking further about the track, they explain: “The song came from our drummer Nathan who had the song fully written in his head which he had done a week after his grandad had passed. It reflected on the feelings he had for him in the lyrics “Take me up, Lead me in, Beyond the clouds, Your life begins” and “Teach me how to FLY”. It also includes life advice from his grandad stating “Impossible is possible if you try.”

Working with the likes of Chris D’adda (recording engineer for The 1975, Kodaline), mixing engineer John Catlin (The Killers, Circa Waves, Inhaler) and mastering engineer John Davis (Gorillaz, Dua Lipa, U2), it’s clear to see the band have the right people around them. We cannot wait to see what this year brings them.
