Newcastle-based neo-soul artist Frankie Jobling announces the release of her upcoming single, ‘Peace of Mind’. Another track that captures the serene yet poised nature of Frankie’s catalogue as she comes off the back of her Kendal Calling performance and support slot of The Pharcyde.
Reflecting on the little things in life that get you through each day in a time where society is ever so fast-paced and where the overwhelming sense of exhaustion is pervasive. ‘Peace of Mind’ is a reminder to throw your phone away and lean into the little moments that give you joy; for Frankie this means running into the North Sea or catching a sunny morning that feels like it’s made just for you.
On the track, Frankie says: “The music is energetic and embodies the feeling of letting your hair down, going a bit feral and fucking off all your responsibilities. I close my live set with this tune, it is high energy and I wanted to capture that in production so we recorded the band together in the live room at BLANK with Lisa Murphy.”
