Peace unveil new track ‘From Under Liquid Glass’

Peace have shared a new song titled ‘From Under Liquid Glass‘.

From Under Liquid Glass‘ is the first new music from the Birmingham band since their 2015 album Happy People. The new track has been released in support of MQ Mental Health with the frontman opening up about his struggles with mental illness. “I wrote the song during my most difficult spring in a long time”, he explains about the track. Listen below.

Peace have always been an explosion of happiness, but that isn’t reflective of every part of me or anyone for that matter, and this song, at it’s most zoomed out, demonstrates that polarity; you can still be a happy person and take a pasting from your demons”.

I’m pleased Peace are supporting MQ and their goal of transforming mental health through research.

Peace are due to make a return in February for an NME Awards show in London alongside Yonaka, Superfood, and Franz Ferdinand.
