Perfect Strangers release ‘Shout’ in support of deaf children in India

Hailing from Bangalore, India, Perfect Strangers just released their latest socially-conscious single “Shout”, raising awareness of hearing and speech-impaired people. The 6-member band pairs the song with a well-produced music video, which features cast with hearing disabilities, and urges the listener to donate to their recently-created Crowdera campaign.

With the campaign, Perfect Strangers aim to help fund deaf education in Indian rural areas, something they explain in detail in this video, along with their experiences talking to a lot of hearing-impaired people and learning about their lives.

“Recently, we worked with people from deaf community for the music video of our latest single “Shout”, explainPerfect Strangers. “While working with them, we got to learn of the challenges they face. They shared shocking stories of lack of awareness, abuse as well as lack of empathy about this disability.”
